About Us

Bawl of Fire Kennels is owned and operated by Brent and Sandi Haskin and our three boys; Wyatt, Sawyer and Gatlyn. We have owned dogs our entire lives but in July of 2009, shortly after getting married, we decided to take it to the next level. In doing so, we sought out the best breeds and bloodlines for our needs that we could find. This was no easy task and there has been a lot of trial and error. We have tried out many breeds and too many different bloodlines to mention. Ultimately, we decided on Beagles, English Pointers, and German Wirehaired Pointers. These breeds, and more importantly the blood lines we carry within these breeds meet all our needs in the woods but all contain an “off” switch. We feel that is a very important trait for dogs to have, especially in homes with small children. Our goal is to breed and promote dogs of sound mind and temperament that have the athletic ability, conformation, desire, and natural instincts to excel in the field, but are able to fall asleep at your feet after a day in the woods.

Brent is a full time Firefighter Paramedic and a small business owner. When he is not working, he devotes all his free time to his family and his dogs. Sandi is a stay at home mom who also has worked part time in the medical field for the past 15 years. Her passions outside of dogs include her family and her horses.
